Update: The World in 50 Years
The body; the city; the world: three environments that will be radically altered with the passage of time and the progress of technology. In the next five decades, research indicates that all three are likely to experience revolutionary change.
Update: The World in 50 Years uses cutting-edge research from institutes such as MIT, the Max Planck Institute, the Los Alamos National Laboratory, Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, Brown University, and NASA to predict what the world will look like in five decades, most notably in relation to the three aforementioned environs.
There are never any guarantees when it comes to predicting the future, so presentation is key, and this series does it perfectly. A great host, superior graphics and thought-provoking ideas will keep viewers glued to their sets.
