VH1 has hired Michael Hirschorn, former editor-in-chief of Inside.com, as senior VP of news and production. In his new role, Hirschorn will be supervising all music-related news and documentary programming.
David Bohrman, who left his executive position at CNNfn two years ago, is returning as senior executive producer for the net's new flagship evening newscast, which debuts this fall.
