The stock footage community recently lost one of its members. Julia Martin, who had been voted in as ACSIL's treasurer and member of the executive committee in March, passed away on April 2. Martin, 36, succumbed to pneumonia. Memorial services were held in both New York and London.
Born in the UK, Martin started her career at ITN in London. She moved to New York in 2000, and worked on the company's expansion in North America. Last summer, she joined AP Archive as business development manager.
