But Brighter is not a one-trick pony. In fact, the company was as notable with broadcasters for its non-reality offerings as it was for its more famous titles. Named particularly in this poll were Extraordinary People and Lucy: Teen Transsexual in Thailand.
Brighter lost its MD (and 11-year Endemol vet), Elaine Hackett, in October of last year. Hackett was replaced by David Flynn, who had previously served as deputy creative director at Endemol UK, and himself joined Endemol in 1999 as a creative intern. How do you not like a company that offers that sort of opportunity for its employees?
Recent titles: Extraordinary People, Lucy: Teen Transsexual in Thailand, Big Brother
