Toronto's Breakthrough Films & Television and Regina's Partners in Motion have teamed up to create an initiative to help indies worldwide in the development and distribution of factual. The Ignite Factual Development Initiative boasts a combined total investment of US$500,000 from said companies. Ignite's first pitch session is taking place during the Realscreen Summit. Representatives from BFTV and PIM are at the Summit and can answer questions about the fund, and how to apply at any time throughout the year.
