Silverman makes NBC brass
by: Jul 1, 2007 Print

As founder and CEO of indie prodco Reveille and an executive producer behind the NBC hit The Biggest Loser, Ben Silverman is no stranger to the NBC Universal offices. Now he'll be there much more - Silverman was recently appointed co-chairman of NBC Entertainment and NBC Universal Television Studio, along with veteran NBCU executive Marc Graboff.

This comes after Reveille entered an expanded and creative arrangement with NBCU earlier this year, in which Reveille gave both the broadcast network and the company's cable properties a first look at all scripted and unscripted projects. With Silverman becoming a senior exec at NBCU, the deal has been extended for two more years.

Silverman and Graboff will be responsible for all aspects of the network's primetime, late-night and daytime programming. They'll also oversee the entertainment division's digital efforts, including NBC.com
