3 top restaurants to check out while at Cannes

With all that schmoozing at MIP, you can work up quite an appetite. And if you do manage to escape the walls of the Palais for déjeuner, sure, McDonald's is right across the street, but a Happy Meal isn't going to do much to impress potential clients. So, we asked three people who've booked their share of reservations in Cannes to tell us their favorite restaurant, to save you the trouble of scouting a delightful place to nosh.

My favorite is Chez Vincent et Nicolas (92 rue Meynadier). It's close to the Palais, but not too close - it's accessible on foot. And it's spacious, rather quiet, not too busy, with good food and friendly people.

The steep walk to the Old Town means you deserve a good dinner. And that's what you get at Mi-Figue Mi-Raisin (27 rue Suquet), located in a pretty room serving light Provençal food at its best.

Le Baoli (Port Pierre Canto) - stylish surroundings, exotic cocktails and amazing Asian food. Sure, it's not quite on the doorstep of the Palais, but it's worth the short cab drive.
