It seemed only natural, after we had honored the top production companies in the world with our Global 100, that we turn our attention to the other side of the desk: the channel reps. Broadcasting is an increasingly complicated industry, and broadcasters have unprecedented competition, much of it from non-traditional media sources. Not only is that affecting the number of viewers showing up, it is also threatening their long-term relationship with advertisers. Tough times call for tough choices, and the execs we've assembled below have made calls to ensure their channels will continue to thrive. We realize it's not an exhaustive list, but these names are representative of the types of people you need to have on your roster if you're a channel looking to compete in this busy media landscape.
