Beyond Productions is a behemoth of an independent Australian production company that has generated 1,800 hours of programming since it was founded in 1984. Flagship non-fiction productions include Mythbusters (which averages 1.7 million households in the US), Hot Property, Beyond Tomorrow (averages 1.4 million viewers in Australia), and Medical Incredible. John Luscombe, a former producer and director at the Australian Broadcasting Corp., is general manager and senior vice president. He joined at the company's inception to produce the award-winning Beyond 2000. He currently oversees 200 hours of programming worldwide.
