They don't come much bigger than Endemol Entertainment. Established in 1994 after a merger of two major TV producers in the Netherlands (Joop van den Ende Productions and John de Mol Produkties), the company now operates in 23 countries and produced more than 25,000 hours of television in 2004, divided into about 300 series. Endemol has over 900 formats in its library, including hits like Big Brother, Fear Factor, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Deal or No Deal, Ready Steady Cook and Star Academy.
