There were several speculative tête-à-têtes surrounding the changes to France Télévisions public TVgroup during November's IDFA. It's no surprise that since the doc unit heads have shuffled, an editorial redirect is on its way. Rumor has it that the broadcasters are trying to differentiate their personalities from one another, with France 2 heading towards history and science specials, France 3 covering contemporary social and political docs, and France 5 staying strong with educational fare.
